This short film begins with Mater going to McQueen to inform him of an ominous sound and a ghost light, subsequently joined by Sarge. Sarge and Mcqueen then embark on an inquiry to unravel the mystery, during which they encounter champion Lisa from Sweden, and the adventure continues.
Anthropomorphic cars and other vehicles fill the universe of the cars movie. Rookie race car with a lot of potential Lightning McQueen is cruising through life until he encounters a roadblock on his way to the most important race of his life. He meets Sally, Mater, Doc Hudson, and a variety of special characters while stranded in Radiator Springs, a deserted town on the old Route 66, who help him to understand that life is not only about trophies and fame, it is more than that.
The car's front end gave the character a more plausible appearance. The point of view is more human like with the eyes situated in the windshield, and it gives the impression that the entire car is involved in the character's animation.
